Hong Fook Mental Health Association

Provides paid job opportunities to individuals at Under The Banyan Tree. Each individual is designated a specific task and under the supervision of a leader, they carryout their jobs learning how to fulfill job requirements and promote their independence.

Centre for Information & Community Services of Canada

CICS also provides paid opportunities where individuals can familiarize themselves with the working environment.

 

Milliken Mills Public Library

Provides volunteer positions for individuals at Under The Banyan Tree, where individuals learn book shelving procedures and sorting skills (alphabetical & colour wise). The goal with this activity is to teach the concept of procedural structure in a learning environment.

Catholic Community Services of York Region

At the CCSYR, individuals at Under The Banyan Tree volunteer their time performing cleaning services. These tasks help the individuals learn new skills and give back to the community at the same time.

Heep Chi Association - Parents Support Group

Individuals at Under The Banyan Tree help the Heep Chi Association once a month with their mailing activities such as folding brochures and sealing envelopes.
